JD.Com and Walmart to invest USD 500 Mln in Chinese Logistics Service

Chinese ecommerce giant JD.com and global retail leviathan Walmart have put USD 500 million more into the Chinese logistics services company Dada-JD Daojia to speed up the growth of latter’s delivery network. Dada-JD Daojia is a joint venture of two firms; while JD Daojia partners with retail stores to provide delivery services of groceries and other items, Dada runs a network of 5 million delivery persons across China.
