Greece’s Pireus Port witnesses significant growth in shipbuilding and ship repair activity in H1/2018

Greece’s largest seaport, Piraeus Port has posted a 21 percent increase in its shipbuilding and repairs activity in H1/2018 – the port serviced 207 ships serviced in that period compared with 171 vessels during the same period last year. The Piraeus Port Authority aims to develop the port of Piraeus into a shipbuilding hub in the Eastern Mediterranean region, serving more ships per year, offering increased reliability and high service delivery.
