South Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries plans to underwrite 200 ship orders to help the maritime industry bounce back from a protracted period of slump, which followed the bankruptcy of Hanjin Shipping. Coming July, the state-owned Korea Ocean Business Corporation will start to issue guarantees and make investments to support the industry.
